Weekend Extravaganza

Well this saturday we went to Logan / Cache Valley for a baby shower for Aaron's nephew. They are having a little girl and she is due March 19th. It was fun. Ethan got to hang out with his cousin that was born on Oct 3 (8 days before Ethan) they sure like each other. We (all us girls at the shower) caught them holding hands. too cute if you ask me. Ethan sure likes to talk to her. She is not so talkative. While we were up in CV we went shopping. Aaron is taking several backpack trips with his brothers and needed some supplies. He wanted some mountering boots but could not find any. we went to several shops till we ended at big 5 and he got some nice ones for $50. I think he has everything now. that is till he thinks of something else.

Ethan got to see his first big screen movie. Aaron took us out to see Twilight for the first time. It wasnt quite what I expected but i did enjoy it. Ethan wanted to talk through the whole thing so Aaron kept him quietly entertained in the back till he fell asleep.
We had Dad and Beth over on sunday for Turkey dinner. We had Turkey, mashed potatos, stuffing, home made rolls, cranberries, pie and ice cream. It was nice. We invited neilo ray but he was not able to come because Sharie is in the hospital and he was with her. We pray that she gets better.

One heck of a snow storm

So how about that snow storm yesterday! We got hit hard. I now have 8 inches of snow in my yard. It is such wet heavy snow that the shade screen over Mia's kennel fell down. (It left a big enough gap that she can still get in to her dog house. The one photo is the pile of snow at the neighbors house our house faces south so the snow melts a little faster. The other is the bird house in my backyard. My in laws received 12-16 inches of snow.they have always gotten more snow even though they are only 15 min further south in Roy but the rest of the week is suppose to be nice. We will see

First Breakfast

This was a cute outfit that he got. I couldnt resist taking his photo in in. His daddy loves him so much. I catch him doing the sweetest things together. Yesterday I found them playing in the bedroom together.
Ethan found his feet on sunday now all he wants to do is hold on to them.

Monday was Ethan's first cereal experience. He got to enjoy beechnut rice cereal. He wasnt so sure of it at first thenthe more he ate it the more he enjoyed it. After every bite though he would stick his fingers in his mouth and i had a heck of a time pulling them out so i could give him more cereal. I hope that today will go better.

Ear impression

When I am nursing Ethan it is so cute I get an impression of his ear on my arm.

Happy babies and mexican food

Ethan had his 4 month checkup yesterday. He is in the 33% for his weight at 14 lbs and 3.5 oz. The 51% for his length at 25 in. and 23% for the circumference of his head at 16.25 in The Dr said that he is progressing well. He did have to have shots though and that was sad. It always breaks my heart when he cry's. Poor little guy got 3 shots. Dr said that we can start him on cereal and green vegetables, and plums. (He has been a little constipated) So we are starting a new adventure.
For valentines day Aaron took us to the Mayan. It was fun to see Ethan enjoy himself. (even after his shots) He liked the colors and the water. They have remodeled since the last time we went. They did a very nice job. We had a hindu couple sit at the table next to us. Her dress was very beautiful. Nice though. Ethan's pain must of hit him on the way home. When we got to Kaysville he started crying and we couldn't get him to stop. It was sad. By clearfield the snow started and he quit crying on the last 10 feet of the road to the house.

Jeff Foxworthy Concert

We went to the Jeff Foxworthy concert on Saturday the 7th. It was at the Energy Solutions Arena (use to be Delta Center) Dad gave us the tickets. Neilo Ray was going to go but he changed his mind. It was a great night out. Aaron's mom and dad watched Ethan for us. The concert was opened by a band called The Standards. they are a 5 brother band out of Tennessee. One of the members can beat box like no other it was awesome. You know when you are stopped at a light and that car pulls up and all you can hear is their radio. Well this guy can do that with his mouth. it was amazing. too bad i couldn't record it. Well these are photos i took. they are not that great because you cant get good photos when people are moving all over the place. Our seats were good not too far from the stage. and they were on the isle.

Ethan at 4 months

Ok so it may seem like i am posting 500 things a day (ok so i am) but I am getting to know how to do this and i have a bit of things to catch you all up on. Here are some photos I took of Ethan today for his 4 month page in his scrapbook. He rolled over from his back to his belly on the 10th. soon he will be crawling and then walking. Spike is not sure what to do with him. I think Spike is still angry that we brought him home. But what can you do. Spike is our dog. Ethan sure loves him he gets excited when ever he sees him. The other day he grabbed Spikes ear and liked how soft they were. He didnt hurt the dog but spike wasnt too fond of it. Spike is really good with Ethan too. I think that I need some chocolate!
Ok so I admit I watch way too much TV. I have come to like Studio 5 though. They have so many great ideas and advice. www.studio5/ksl.com is the websight with tonz of fun things to look at. I also like to watch scrapbook memories tv it is on channel 11-2 their websight is www.scrapbookmemoriestv.com if you want to go.
