Crawling Babies, and Kidney Stones

So things are going well Ethan is getting back on schedule now that he doesn't have to have formula. He is sleeping in this photo with his knees up under him (a sign of things to come?) He got to see Granny Henderson and Aunt Treasa yesterday. Aaron is working 4 10's now so he is home 3 days a week and that makes Ethan and mommy happy. He is taking a computer and math class for the fall semester at Weber state.
We got a tent trailer. it is just the right size. We are going to Allred flats (just outside of Afton Wyo) for memorial weekend. we will be leaving the 22ND and coming back on Tuesday the 26Th

Thursday the 7Th I was in excruciating pain. I couldn't keep anything down. and I was nauseated. After Aaron came home we had Aaron's mom take Ethan. Aaron took me to the ER.I wasn't top priority so After 5 unnecessary hours (the hospital was put on lock down due to Gang "activity") a CT scan and a little morphine It ended up being a Kidney stone. They gave me percoset and FloMax to help pass the stone. and by the way you cant nurse while on either drug. So I had to pump. and FloMax has a natural drying side effect so i went from 6 oz to less than 1 in a little less than 24 hours. I finally passed the stone (after 6 days) and Now Ethan is much Happier now that he doesn't have to have formula. Plus that is expensive too. It is a crappy photo, but that is a dime next to it. ("urine" trouble if you get one ha ha)

Ethan is sitting pretty good. Usually only falls when he is reaching for something. He is also almost able to pull himself up. If I am holding his hands he can stand up it is funny because I will try to pull him into a sitting position and he will just stand up. You cant even bend his legs to get him to sit. Anything to make mommy laugh.

Ethan is growing growing growing. He is starting to crawl. Mostly just pulls himself forward with his arms while laying on his tummy. But he is getting there.

  1. Sorry to hear about your kidney stone. I've had one of those--pretty much one of the most painful things I've experienced (next to childbirth) Glad it's over for you. Hopefully you don't get another one!
